New Roof

The roof is finally finished! It took two days of work with about five people working on it. Our choices were light brown, dark brown, light gray and dark grey, so we picked light brown to match our back deck. Here is a before picture, in which you can see the tar my husband put on the slope because we had a leak:

And here is an after picture, but the flowers haven't bloomed yet...

  1. Oh, I like the change. Good choice on the color of the roof. It matches the color of the wall beautifully, and somehow, it has that rustic, countryside feel that makes you feel all warm and cozy inside. I want to see some photos of the flowers in their full bloom soon!

  2. They were able to fix everything in 2 days? That’s amazing! Your new roof color complements the entire house nicely. Excellent choice! :)

  4. Oh, that new color is perfectly charming! The way it combines with the light blue walls reminds me of a doll house I once owned, or of marshmallows, haha! I hope the leak that was repaired with the tar was fixed as well. My kudos to your husband, by the way, for getting up there and fixing the leak because that slope looks steep!

  5. You’ve made the right choice in deciding to replace that old roof. The color you picked for your roof complements beautifully to the light blue color of the wall. It makes your home even more attractive. I’m pretty sure it will look even more inviting when those flowers bloomed.

  6. Good color choice, Cristina. Light brown makes your home look lighter and brighter. I love pastel colors! =) Anyway, has there been any change with the roof so far?
