Hardwood vs Tile in the Kitchen

Besides replacing a U-shaped or L-shaped counter with an island, one of the nicest changes you can make to your kitchen is adding hardwood floors or tile. (Just avoid pine as it dents easily.) I'll share six pictures of each to help the deciding process, as each has its own very distinct style and will play a huge role in determining the overall look of your kitchen.
